SocialCast provides two platforms: SocialCast Video (livestreaming and video-on-demand) and SocialCast Forum (digital meeting management for democratic processes). This policy covers both platforms.

About anonymous voting

When anonymous voting is used, individual votes are cryptographically protected. Even system administrators cannot trace anonymous votes to individuals. Only aggregated results are accessible.

For SocialCast Forum meeting data, your right to erasure may be limited because:

  • Meeting protocols are official public records under Swedish law
  • Democratic transparency requires maintaining accurate historical records
  • Your organization's archive law obligations take precedence

You CAN request deletion of:

  • Your account information (after leaving the organization)
  • Data unrelated to official meetings

You CANNOT request deletion of:

  • Your votes from official meeting protocols

Anonymous voting

Anonymous votes cannot be traced to you (not even by us) - they are cryptographically protected from the start.
